no seeds this year

Been getting all my seed catalogs. But I still have seeds from two years ago I've never planted, AND the ghetto seed-starting setup is such a pain, AND the sungolds did so well last year.

So, I'm not going to order any seeds this year — just buying starts.

Hard freeze tonight. Pulled all the green tomatoes (chutney, maybe?), yanked the plants, broke up the strawbales, and spread them out as mulch.





The dog approves.

Pulled the potatoes. Yield was ... meh. As is usually the case, I probably didn't water them enough.
